Anthony DiNozzo I Think I Should Know How To Make Love To Something Innocent Without Leaving My Fingerprints On Now L-O-V-E's Just Another Word I Never Learned To Pronounce. Starstrukk - 3OH!3 feat. Katy Perry. Sit Rep Meeting - Main Case 1 "Mistaken Identity" The Benoit Case.
Team Leader Anthony DiNozzo Agents On Case Timothy McGee, Jack Harkness. Those In The Know Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Jennifer Shepherd. Abigail Scuito.
Roadcall Caitlin Todd. Sagelee Adams. Miranda Tsumichi. Mick Kingsley. Maleficent Armstrong. Lilianna Hood. Tony leaned against the edge of his desk, clutching the remote from the large TV in hand. He had called for a Sit Rep for all the new agents for the current case. Most of the new probies were Jack's team but he had been informed of a new MCRT agent to join the A-Team! McGoo was sitting at his desk, typing away as usual. Tim was busy researching background on the deceased Lieutenant that had provoked the victim. Tony didn't know where Jack was but he wasn't needed in this instance, though he could alteast meet his new team! Tony rolled his eyes as he waited for his class. He told Ziva and kate to come along too, just to get aquainted with the case they missed. Kate obviously knew a little from their Heart-to-Head the other day. His stomach grumbled lightly, lunch was approaching and he knew that he'd have to wait until the meeting before he could satisfy his hunger. Eyes peered towards his trusty sidekick, eyebrows arched. Probie.... Subway is calling? He hinted at the techie. McGee looked to him, his face vacant. You have a meeting to do, Boss. Sarcasm ringing out. Tony patted the techie on the back. Make mine a Steak and Cheese on italian - ofcourse. Lettuce, Onion and don't forget the Jalapenos this time Probie. Thanks! He didn't give Tim much of a choice as the techie left insearch for food for the master as he awaited for his pupils to arrive!

Sagelee had received word that she was to go to a sit rep to discuss the current case. She didn't mind, she really wanted to get in on this. All she knew so far, and this was from reading the files she sorted, was that a marine was killed and a woman was badly injured. As well as a little girl, who called in the case. She had been emailing her mother, who is in Florida at the moment. She just had to tell Sagelee about this new thing called "Youtube" that she just discovered. Sage just laughed and praised her mother for her leap into the 20th century. She clicked out of her email, her phone buzzed with a reminder message about the meeting. She put her computer on sleep and stood up. She didn't have to look far, 20 steps away was Tony DiNozzo. Or What she knew him as. "The Guy Who Saw Her in A Towel at the gym." She giggled thinking about that.
She didn't really call him that. To his face. But it was still funny and embarassing to think about. First impression? She said to herself. Tony was leaning against his desk, arms crossed "trying" to look official. He was after all the "boss man". Sagelee smiled as she stepped up to the man. "Sagelee Adams reporting Sir! You are the boss Sir! I am dirt on your shoes Sir!" She said in a sarcastic tone. Hoping it would gain her a chuckle she planted her feet together and soluted him. Breaking out in a Big Smile.

Mick stumbled as the elevator doors opened, revealing an open room with desks and dividers. A sharply dressed man and a woman were conversing on one end of the room. He quickly checked his ego and made his way over. From his experience in the police force, he could tell that the man looked more like someone in charge - his stance and swagger screamed "experienced." Mick nervously tucked a peppermint candy in his mouth. Confidence booster? Maybe.
He swallowed down his nervousness and threw on a polite grin. He held his hand out for a handshake. "Mick Kingsley, sir. I was told to report here, Agent...?"he trailed off, suddenly embarrassed. What was his name?

L. Jethro Gibbs Well in case you failed to notice, In case you failed to see, This is my heart bleeding before you, This is me down on my knees
"That's Agent DiNozzo and he called you down here because if this investigation ties up these teams any longer I'll be closing it by the end of the week. he stated then he looked over to DiNozzo. "I want this wrapped up and now he gently pushed him back where the others couldn't hear. "Get your head clear and run this case or I will take it over and you'll be back doing Probie work. You know what to do DiNozzo" he mused before walking back off towards the rest of the group as he sat there waiting on what the others would say.
Those who did know about this case weren't exactly showing face around the place either. He knew they didn't need a sit rep but what they did need was to get to their work instead of goofing around. "Too much play and not enough work, Finish this" he stated to the group of agents. He wasn't particularly thrilled about this case taking so long.
He then noticed Sagelee after a moment. "Your goofing off to eh? Most of the women on this team get the work done, that they are supposed to instead of insulting those in the arms forces" he added as he was still sitting over the top of the cubicles. He had stuck his nose in and he wasn't to happy to have had to.

Lilly walked out of the elevator and saw the group of agents, including the Director. She spotted DiNozzo, and saw that he looked less tony like. Interesting. Her mind was running over what could be wrong. She walked over towards them, nodding to the Director. She could see that this was going to be an interesting day.
She was always quiet, and so didn't speak much, just waited and watched.

Tony looked up to see the blonde he'd met down at the gym by his desk. He figured she was here for the Sit Rep - no suprises there since he called one not long ago! He was suprised, however, to her strange but comical approach to her acknowledgement. He was usually the one making the wise cracks and acting the fool but ofcourse, he hadn't been quite himself lately! One eyebrow raised sharply as he figured what he could actually reply to something like that?! He gave a smirk in response before answering. Just how I like it. The others shouldn't be long so hold tight until I start.
He turned to see another agent pull up next to the blondr. He'd heard this was Jack's new Senior Field Agent, recognising his face from the encounter with Kate one late night. He went to take the polite agent by the hand and answer his request, feeling alot more "himself" after their first introduction. His voice sounded strangely like Gibbs and it made him stop when he actually realised his Director had shown up to the meeting, obviously checking up on things as usual.
He couldn't help but follow his master as Gibbs pushed him out of site from his followerers. He listened to the man's words before letting out his reply. My head is completely clear, Boss. I'm all over this case. Im just waiting on Abby's test results. His voice clear and confident, the most it had been since the start of the case. He was doing his best to get over her the best he could and it seemed to be working. He watched his boss walk away before joing his new team.
He cleared his throat before speaking up to waht seemed to be left of his team! For those who don't know, I am Agent Anthony DiNozzo: Team Leader for the Major Case Response Team and Im giving you Probies a heads up on the current case. He flicked on the tv, showing a slideshow of the photos that were taken at the crimescene. Lieutenant Jonathan Hunter was found dead at our witnesses home, a shot to the chest being the one to kill him. Our witness, Jeanne Benoit was found injured on the floor beside him. A 9 inch knife was found in her left side, cutting one of her main arteries. Her 5 year old daughter made the call to us. We interviewed Jeanne and she claims she shot the man out of self-defense over an argument over the child. The little girl didn't see anything but only heard a gunshot. We're waiting on the lab results from Abby, our forensic scientist, for fingerprint matches and confirmation on their stories. We're gonna try and make this case a quick one so we've merged both of the teams together for all the help we can get. We need anything you can find on any history of our couple. Report anything to me. Thank you.
The other latecomers would have to catch up later, he didn't have time to wait for them. He had a case to solve.

Jenny Shepard Until the day I die I'll spill my heart for you Until the day I die Lunch with some Marine Generals and politicians done and over with, Jen entered the NCIS building and rode the elevator up to the bullpen where she had recieved a text from the Director about a Sit Rep meeting would be happening. She caught the end of Gibbs and Tony's little chat and continued moving closer to the desks. She leaned against the bad orange colored divider to the desk Ziva usually sat at and listened intently, reserving any comments or questions for a time better suited than the present. Staying silent was always the best solution especially when people began to get nervous when they know there boss is around, so it would not help nerves if they found out that not only was their boss, Gibbs, there, but his boss as well. Jenny knew she would be found out once his spiel was finished and that was fine because she was involved in this case whether she wanted to be or not. Oh well, what happens happens. Tony finally got his chance to lead a team once more. Even if it wasn't in Spain like she had offered back when she was Director and Gibbs had come back.

Sagelee saw as Tony recognized her and smirked. She loved his smile and was happy he found a chuckle in her comedy. She heard his flirty tone and couldn't help but giggle at him.
She watched him walk over towrds a man, she hadn't seen him before. All of a sudden she heard the big bad booming voice of Gibbs, the director. She watched as she talked to Tony, then seemed to tell him something in private. Being the person she is she tried to listen but apparently moved a bit to close and was noticed. Gibbs turned to her as he Yelled at her. She heard the anger and dissapointment in his voice. And honestly it hurt her a bit. She didn't show her emotions. She just nodded till he finished. "Im sorry sir." She mumbled once he had averted his attention. She looked down to the floor not wanting to be there.
Once Gibbs had left she perked up a bit as she met eyes with tony. She smiled and once again looked down. A couple other showed up and Tony got the idea. He began speaking showing a slideshow of the photos. Horrid pictured but yet she couldnt look away this was all so interesting to her. The pictures seemed to have some effect on tony though. because everytime the stabbed woman appeared his eyes seemed to loose their color. And glaze over. She wondered why this was and bagan focusing her attention on this more then the actual case. She tried to remember what it was Gibbs was telling him. "Get your head clear." She said to herself. She wondered what could be on Tony's mind. As she heard Tony dismiss them she smiled and went back to her desk. "Hmmm" She thought to herself. I'll just ask McGee she thought. Smiling again, she opened up another file and began looking.

Post by Timothy McGee on Jun 9, 2010 21:42:09 GMT -5
Tim had been extremely busy as he sat typing at his computer. He wasn't working on the case for once. Instead, he was told to hold off and let the newbies had a shot at it. He wasn't sure that it was such a good idea, considering the scale of the case, but Gibbs knew best. That was the one thing McGee would never doubt. Instead, he was working on random other cases that weren't particularly pressing, but it didn't matter. Not like he had too much to do. The sound of his fingers speeding over the keys was only interrupted by Tony's voice. The sound was like nails on a chalkboard to the young computer genius.
" Probie.... Subway is calling?"
Lifting his head, McGee all but glared at Tony, not about to go get him a sandwich. If he wanted one so damn bad, then he could just go get it himself. Rolling his eyes, he spoke in the most sarcastic tone he could possibly muster.
" Don't you have a meeting to conduct, boss?"
It was as if he didn't even hear it. Tim rolled his eyes. Tony was really milking this team leader thing for all it was worth. Shrugging lightly, he closed what he was working on and got his coat on. He ignored Tony's order as he brushed past the man, brushing right by Dagalee as he she walked in then. Tim didn't cast her a second glance. Girls like that never gave him a second look, and he had enough pride in himself not to give her the satisfaction of a look.
It was an uneventful trip to Subway. McGee got Tony exactly what he hadn't asked for and he returned quickly, wanting to watch the meeting and seeing how the 'boss' conducted himself. When he got back to the bullpen, Tim tossed Tony's sandwich to him, not really caring if the other man caught it out not and fell back into his chair, leaning back and enjoying the show.
Tim was actually surprised that so many probies had showed up. Why in the hell did Tony insist on calling him that? He was also surprised to see former director Shepard and current director Gibbs in attendance. Well, weirder things had happened.
At Tony spoke, Time thought maybe he should go check on Abby's process. It was just much too fun watching Tony play leader for him to go anywhere.

Tony had managed to catch his sub mid-speech, without even looking at it. McGee was so predictable at throwing it was unreal! He managed to get through his speech, dismissing his new probies to their work. He opened the wrapping and taking a bite without even checking what McGoo had ordered. His face morphed in horror when the familiar tastes didn't come to him. He spat the large mouthful into the bin and shot daggers at McGee. What the hell is this McGeek?! This isn't... isn't even a sandwich?! He tore open the bread to reveal a load of conjealed ingredients. It's just... a mess! He narrowed his eyes at the probie... oh, he'd get him back when he least expected it! He threw the remainder of the sub into the trash with a disgusted look on his face. He shoulda known not to trust Probie to get something right!
He turned to see Jenny sitting down, hiding herself out of view. She should know that you couldn't hide from DiNozzo! He smirked before walking over, leaning against the desk she sat infront of. Jennifer... He never called her by her official title, like he rarely called Gibbs his!
OOC: Sorry it's not very muse-ful =[

Gibbs hadn't left so when Sagelee apologized her just stated flatly. "Don't apologize he narrowed his eyes towards her. Someone needed to teach these probies something. ANYTHING would be helpful. He caught sight of Jennifer and gave a nod in her direction as he dealt with his agency. He wanted to make sure this was under control and the agents got back in the field as soon as possible. He needed answers and he knew that Jennifer did too.
He turned his gaze towards DiNozzo. "Well DiNozzo don't make me assign these agents things to do. Thats your job now" he stated trying to keep the Team Leader from straying even though was more natural for him.I don't need to tell you to pick up the evidence report from Abby which according to my gut, would probably close this case.

His eyes flicked to Sagelee as she apologised for her actions, se looked a little downhearted by the whole thing. Kinda reminded him of McGoo when he first became Probie; always doing wrong and way behind on things. Good times. His attention soon turned when Gibbs spoke directly to him. They're already on it Boss, they SHOULD be searching for ANY information that we've missed on this case... He turned his head towards the few stragglers who were standing idol. A raised eyebrow meant that he was talking about them and they soon scurried to their desks. He nodded at his superior when he mentioned getting the lab results. Im on it boss A quick look to McGee told him to keep an eye on the other Probies while he was gone. When Kate wasn't around, McGeek was in second in command.
Minutes had passed when Tony was standing back in that elevator, waiting for it to go back to the bullpen. There were two envelopes at his fingertips. One held the results found by ducky over the autopsy and those based on Jeanne's wounds. The other, held the results to the paternity test. His eyes flickered over to the emergency stop button, the one Gibbs usually used for his private meetings. A shaky hand brought the contraption to shutdown. Fingertips tore open the seal on the envelope, Legs letting his torso rest in the corner of the metal cage. Eyes scanned through the crap until it reached the verdict...
The elevator pinged open, Tony returned to his desk with a certain swagger, a one usually seen before this whole case had started. He sat down on his familiar leather chair and opened the other envelope. His head nodded as he read the information, taking it all on. He almost jumped up, he needed to find Gibbs! He spotted him not far from where he had left him. Boss, the results claim that Jeanne's wound had happened BEFORE the gunshot - which means that he attacked her first. It was self-defense. This meant Addy had her mom back. He didn't mention the other envelope though he knew Gibbs would want to know - plus Jenn ofcourse!

Lilly nodded as she quickly started to sourt through the work, her eyes moving quickly. She listened to the words around her, not really caring about if anyone really wanted her to hear or not. OK so yes... mean woman, but she was just making sure there was not a huge amount of stress around her! Yeah right... Like anyone would believe that.
Lilly glanced up as the old director came in... Interesting. SecNav was interested in this case? That's odd.
