Jenny Shepard Until the day I die I'll spill my heart for you Until the day I die 'Snugglebug. He is my snugglebug and he shall forever be my snugglebug. Such a cute, cute snugglebug...' Jen's eyes shot open, confused as all-get-out. What the hell was that? She rubbed at her eyes with the back of her hand. A warm presence was to her left and she rolled over, expecting to see the man who stole her heart many years ago. Her eyebrows furrowed and a pout planted itself on her face. Jen's nose sniffed the air, figuring out where her man was; hopefully not screwing up her kitchen. Hearing footsteps, her body went into stealth, shut-down mode. She squirmed back down into the ruffled sheets and pretended to be sleeping, which of course would never fool him. "Mhmm..." she mumbled at being roused from her slumber. She turned to face him and rubbed at her eyes and peered at him under heavy eyelids. A smile appeared on her face. Jen sat up and made herself comfortable, observing what he had brought up. "Well, isn't this sweet of you, Jethro," she said in a sultry, soft voice. Her hand extended for the cup of coffee, transferring it, so she could add some sugar to the drink. After, she sipped at it slowly, watching him.

L. Jethro Gibbs Well in case you failed to notice, In case you failed to see, This is my heart bleeding before you, This is me down on my knees
He grinned handing her a coffee. "You did let me stay here last night" he mused at her as he sat down on the edge of the bed with just his coffee. He didn't care to eat anything in the morning. He did still have a mess to clean up downstairs. "I still have an explosion to cleanup in the kitchen but when I am done it is Saturday" he added as he watched her. He made a face as she dumped sugar in her coffee. Definitely not the way coffee was intended.
He knew she had been faking the sleep he wasn't fooled. "How long have you been awake?" he asked with a raised brow his curiosity getting the best of him. He pecked her in the cheek and handed her the tray. "I'm going to clean up the explosion and shower while you figure on how you want to spend your saturday" he added before turning to go downstairs as he proceeded to clean up the kitchen as it was spotless when he was finished. Then he grabbed a towel and used the shower he knew he was allowed to use. It took him around 30 minutes to get everything clean and get showered. He always seemed to be in a hurry doing everything. Then he went looking for Jenny again.

Jenny Shepard I don't wanna share you with nothing else--I gotta have you to myself Oh--I can't help it--I'm so in love-- I just can't get you close enough, no She nodded at him; she could not forget his immaturity of last night. He friggin' threw a pillow at her! And chased her to the closet! Kept her from sleeping for a good thirty or so minutes. She rolled her eyes at his reaction to adding sugar to her drink. 'Whatever, Jethro...' Her eyes stared at the ceiling, jaw set presently. 'Of course he wrecked my kitchen... Hopefully he at least cooked the food well enough to be edible' she thought, studying the tray's contents cautiously. She smiled sheepishly at the man, expecting this response from him. "Just a bit," she shrugged her shoulders and smiled sweetly at him when he gave her the tray. "'Kay. See ya in a bit, Jethro," she said and started nibbling on her food. After finishing what she dared to eat and what she was hungry, she brought her food to the kitchen and started washing and drying the dishes, quite glad that she kept up with her housework, so she didn't have a pile of dishes to wash at one time. Drying the glass she used for orange juice, Jen began to put them away. She filled her mug up with more coffee and added sugar once again. She leaned against the counter, sipping her drink, thinking about plans for the day and waited for Jethro.

He popped back in the kitchen before popping her with the towel, it was dry so it wasn't going to hurt. But childish he would be at this moment while they decided something to do for the day. He set the towel on the stove and came over wrapping his arms around her with a smug look on his face. "What about we go to the beach?" he said with a shrug. The beach was pretty this time of year. "Unless you have another idea like sky diving that sounds interesting?" he joked towards her.
He twisted around and put his back to the counter so she was now leaning on him. He had taken her coffee from her previously so that he wouldn't spill it all over them. He held her with a tight grip but a loving one. He didn't know what to think. He sighed as he leaned on the counter looking to her just waiting to see what comment she would come up with.

Jenny Shepard These feelings won’t go away They’ve been knockin me sideways They’ve been knockin me out lately Whenever you come around me She glared at him and refused to lean into him or react when he took her coffee away and pulled her towards him. He was not being childish again! This was just some freak coincidence...or a dream. Everything lately had felt like a dream. Once again claiming Jethro for her own in his personal office, persuading him, in a sense, to leave his wife, and him coming to her house last night. Just one bizarre dream. Jenny thought about his proposition, rolling her eyes at the extreme sport, curious as to if he would act like a fool or kid at the beach. She also thought briefly about what that would entail to anyone who saw them. Only recently had he left Shannon; they weren't even divorced yet... And so soon he found someone else? It was a lot of questions and no courage to ask them, not to mention the implications she would face. The Secretary of the Navy had to maintain her persona in the public, but the beach did sound like a good idea... "Okay, fine. Help me pick out a swimsuit?" Jen asked suggestively with her sultry voice and teasing him with a peck to the lips while her hands roamed down his chest. She began to pull away, wondering what his response would be.

He smiled at her words his hands finding their way to her hips and resting there as he spoke. "What about that blue and green one that looked absolutely stunning on you?" he figured she would know which one he was talking about but it had been so many years back it may or may not still be in her wardrobe.
He then looked to her as the thought crossed his head. "Unless you want a new one" he offered softly. He was being less childish but there was still that child like smirk on his face. He ran his hands up her back and placed one firmly around her gently. He turned the peck she gave him into something more. He spoke as he pulled away as he came to the realizatioin this was where he was meant to be."I'm not going to lose you Jen." It was a whisper but it was honestly meant.

Jenny Shepard Love makes us act like we are fools. Throw our lives away. For one, happy day. 'That one...? SHIT!' Jen's mind raced a mile a minute remembering one of the times in Europe, specifically Germany, when she had met a very intriguing and sexy man by the name of Bren who absolutely ripped her clothes to shreds when they met in the bedroom. One piece of clothing had been that specific bathing suit. Forcing her face to stay neutral and without extra blood in it, Jenny covered as quickly as her thoughts could translate into words spewing from her mouth. "Actually... she started, sultry voice continued. "I think I have another one in mind that would be a lot more...interesting than that old piece." She made no sign of distress and observed his entire body carefully, backing away slowly, in case he decided to do or say something else. Jen smiled softly at the whisper, it was genuinely sincere and very sweet of him. But he needed to stop being such a damn softie. She needed him to go back to being the cold, arguing with her man she knew and loved. It wasn't that she didn't absolutely love his romantic, sweet side, but it was getting annoying the more and more he proclaimed his love for her and that he won't leave her. She just didn't know what was going on in his mind. "Well, you wait here or go get ready and I'll change and see you back down here in the foyer."

It took him not too long to change and when they were both ready he spoke again. "Heads up" he stated before tossing his keys in her directions. A sign that he didn't want to drive. He was not in the mood to deal with it and he preferred they both stay alive, because frankly he felt like driving over the edge of a cliff after what had happened with Shannon. He wasn't going to voice that opinion in the slightest, nor did he let those thoughts come to his head again.
He grabbed his things and headed for the door. He waited for her to click the doors open so he could get in on the passenger side. He was holding onto all the bags that they needed. He was just going to toss them in the backseat since his trunk was full. He wondered what was taking her so long to open the door. "You plan on keeping me outta my own car/ he questioned.

Jenny Shepard You, you will be mean. No, I won't! And I, I--I'll drink all the time. Jen flew about her bedroom putting together a small bag for the visit to the beach, putting in sunblock, two towels, a light sweater should they get caught in a freak rain shower, and her mind thought about what to wear. She stumbled into her closet searching for the section that held her bathing suits and summer clothes. Finding them she picked a few and held them up in front of her body and viewed herself in the full-length mirror. No, not the orange one; too old and probably too small. DEFINITELY not the blue one. 'Why the hell do I still have that one?! I wore that when I was five and visited Dad in Europe.' she shook her head and threw that one onto her bed so she could return it to her old room when she got back. Jen's eyes lit up all of a sudden, a smile spreading across her face. That's that one! Jen stripped out of her night clothes and slipped into a beautiful all black bathing suit that wrapped around her curves perfectly and covered her chest appropriately. Not like those stupid strappy, over the shoulder things that revealed your back to ultraviolet rays. As she pulled the around the neck strap over her head, Jen felt a tug and pinch to her abdomen. She looked down and saw the pull of the suit and furrowed her eyebrows slightly. She shrugged her shoulders and wiggled her body until the suit fit comfortably and looked decent. She checked the bag's contents, went to wash her face and brush her teeth and planned what to wear over her bathing suit until they got to the beach. Jenny tugged on short jean shorts and a simple Marine tee-shirt that used to be her father's and climbed the stairs down to the awaiting man. She smiled when she saw him and double checked that she had her Blackberry and a pair of sunglasses. She yelped when the keys flew her way, thankfully she caught them before they mutilated her pretty face. The dangerous red-head glared at him momentarily and followed him out to the car standing on the driver's side, staring at him over the roof. She contemplated her options. She wanted to watch him while he drove to see if he would peek and be curious as to what bathing suit she was wearing, but he wanted to play passenger. Jen glanced over her shoulder and spotted a couple of black suit, black sunglasses wearing men slide into a car and turn the engine over. She slid the keys over the top of the roof and said "You drive." She waited for his response a look that said 'go ahead and dare defy me' on at the moment.

He would defy her. He didn't feel like driving but the men caught his attention to. "Its handled she's not a child" he glared at the men who didn't seem to back down. He hated people watching over their shoulder. He turned his attention back to Jen. "You feel like driving off a cliff?" he mused at her with the same look she had just given him. He had learned looks from her and he knew that she had learned looks from him too. It was no secret that they picked up on each others looks.
They had their power struggles because it seemed they both were dominate personalities and they were bound to butt heads at some point as usual. He narrowed his visages not taking the keys from her. He was watching her gazing because he had been able to catch a glimpse of her in the bathing suit. He caught himself giving her a small smirk. He set the bags down leaning on the roof so they were now eye to eye.

Jenny Shepard My love is tainted by your touch Cuz some guys have shown me aces But you've got that royal flush If that's how he wanted to play it, that's how she would take it. She would not look away, she would not give in, he will not win, no matter what he does or say. Especially if he decided to distract her by kissing her or whatever else his mind would come up with for pleasing her. She stared straight ahead at her opponent, eye twitching momentarily when he lowered himself to come eye level with her. Just because she wasn't wearing high heels right now did not mean she was the shortest woman in the world. Ziva was at least an inch shorter without any shoes on either of them. It was just that Jethro happened to be a tall man; and a big man....No! Jen's eyes narrowed even more, forcing her perverse thoughts into the back of her mind. Not the time, place, or situation. Never. She was finally used to the bodyguards. She didn't like it, but it was required of all Pentagon officials no matter the situation. It was similar to being Director of a huge company, but they mostly let you fend for yourself in your free time, unlike her situation now. Her jaw was set, her hands rested on the roof and legs planted shoulder-length apart to help maintain her demeanor. Her eyes were icy cold pools of green, not warm like they usually were, especially in the bedroom. She didn't want him to win, despite how menial the task of driving to the beach was. ((Eh. Kinda drew a blank after the 2 lines in the second paragraph...T.V. series on Netflix...))

His eyes continued to meet her with that gaze that meant he wasn't about to give in. "It not happening Jen, I am not driving, make one of the goonies do it for all I care but its not happening." he stated fiercely. The protection detail was getting on his nerves as his own arrived. 'Wonderful' he thought to himself sarcastically now there were 2 groups of protection detail watching them argue. He narrowed his visages knowing better than to try and dismiss his own protection detail.
"You called them too? Told them where to find me I suppose?" he accused as he grabbed the keys from her and chucked them into the bushes. "I will just walk." he mused before he headed off with the bags in that direction. It would be a 20 min walk, but it was hot out so it was probably going to be a miserable one. He padded off in that direction, his eyes watching his protection detail that seemed to grudgingly follow him. He had no idea why they had even shown up, they weren't needed until the conference.

Jenny Shepard I can be your hero, baby I can kiss away the pain I will stand by you forever You can take my breath away A smirk appeared on her face, recognizing the same annoyance that she had the first few weeks of being the Director of NCIS in her lover's facial expression and his beautiful eyes. Her mouth dropped when he threw his keys into some nearby shrubbery and stared blankly when he headed toward the beach. She glanced at all four of the goons and motioned with her hand for one of them to retrieve the metal pieces. She hadn't called them; it was there job to find and protect him tot he best of their abilities. They had probably been there since his random appearance last night. Whatever. Jen jogged to catch up to him and slid her hand into his, hoping he wouldn't reject her gesture. "How's this for a compromise? She asked a soft smile in his direction showing him that she had let the whole ordeal go. "You really do need to work on your politics, Jethro," she joked quietly, before giving a light kiss to his cheek. They could walk to the beach, it was no big deal. She didn't mind one bit.

He just shrugged when she came up beside him. He wasn't too completely sure he heard her right. Since when did they ever compromise on something like this? He wasn't much of a compromising person as she pointed out. "Well shooting wouldn't work in this case so there ya go" he mused in jest. He was never very good at politics that was nothing new, but it didn't help him in his current state.
He let her slip her hand into his without contest on his part, he just went with it. Though the goons behind him were waving on his nerves, made him get that "spied on" feeling one gets when someone is following them. "Damn Stalkers" he mumbled under his breathe.

Jenny Shepard Through the wind and the chill and the rain And the storm and the flood I can feel his approach Like the fire in my blood She felt as if she might as well give him some slack. things had been rough lately and she wasn't helping his stress level whatsoever, but she had a number of ideas on how to lower that feeling of strain. One of which would hopefully be their visit to the beach and if not she still had some options she could execute. A smirk filled her face. "No, it wouldn't. And I could help teach you about compromise and politics, if you'd like Jethro," she offered sincerely, a swift glance backward confirming her assumption that the guards were following them. Jen looked back at Jethro when he spoke, intrigued at what he would say, but smiled widely when he did. She giggled for a few moments, nodding her head in assent. "If you think they are bad, how about what the citizens are thinking?" Jen motioned with her head to on side, having noticed the confused gazes and questioning looks the couple and their entourage has been receiving.
